Carmen is an empathetic counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She combines a holistic approach with solution-focused therapy, Narrative Therapy and mindfulness practices.
Marwan Noueihed
With over 20 years of experience as a relationship & sexual intimacy therapist, Marwan is equipped to assist couples and individuals with a range of challenges including communication problems, infidelity, divorce, family conflict, low self-esteem, depression and anxiety. He uses Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills to help clients explore their strengths and more helpful ways of thinking and behaving.
He has a deep understanding of the effects of trauma and attachment. He is also trained in EMDR and is comfortable working with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations.
He is a member of the BCACC and CCPA and works with couples, youth, LGBTQ2+ and adults. He offers in-person counselling and virtual sessions to clients across the Greater Vancouver area. He has a private practice in North Vancouver and is accepting new clients. He is committed to protecting client privacy and confidentiality. He is also committed to reducing the stigma around mental health.
Dina Lanzi
Dina Lanzi (She/Hers) is a client-centred and empathetic counsellor who completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She works with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and loss. She integrates elements from various counselling approaches, such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness. She is also certified in trauma-informed yoga and values the mind-body connection.
She grew up in Saskatchewan and lives on the North Shore with her family and dog. She is committed to a culturally diverse and inclusive practice. She offers flexibility in appointment times and locations, including walking therapy.
Blair Hackman
Blair Hackman (She/Her/Hers) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and life changes and transitions. She uses a client-centred approach and evidence based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Walking Therapy. She also offers a safe, non-judgemental and empathetic space for her clients to process difficult experiences, feelings and thoughts. She is currently completing her Master of Counselling at City University in Vancouver. She has volunteered in a variety of capacities on the North Shore and enjoys teaching counselling graduate students as part of her practicum work.
