Conseguir Conjugation – Tenses And Commands

Get in Spanish can mean either to get, to achieve or to attain, depending on the context. She always achieves her goals, for example, and I must get / obtain a scholarship. Furthermore, you may also note that the verb get simply follows the prefix with. As long as you know how to conjugate follow, you can simply add the prefix with and you have the perfect get conjugation. Here you will find tables for conjugating present, past, and future indicatives, present and past subjunctives, imperatives, and more.

As an -ir verb, getting is also stem-changing. In general, you can conjugate -ir verbs by dropping the -ir and adding the appropriate ending. As well as those forms of the third person preterit for the present tense indicative, stem-changing verbs also change the endings as well. In the case of this verb, the stem change is from e to i. Get’s present tense in the first person is with you. There is a swap of e and i in the verb stem.

When conjugating getting, you also have to pay attention to the way the letter g sounds. The letter g has a hard sound as in cat The letter g has a hard sound as in gato When it is followed by the vowel a, o, or u, the letter g has a hard sound, and when it is followed by the vowel e or i, the letter g has a soft sound. There are a few conjugations where the spelling changes from g to gu because of the hard g sound, such as get versus get.

There is construction for the indicative mood (present, preterite, imperfect, future, periphrastic future and conditional), as well as for the subjunctive mood (past and present). As well as other verb forms like the present and past participles.
